Format

Tour Championship

The Tour Championship takes place from April until October and consists of 12 Medals (#1-12) and the Tour Championship Finale off full handicap.

The 12 Medals and Finale will each take place over 3 days and will be played over one of Lochgreen, Darley or Belleisle for each event.


Tour Championship Medal or Finale Winner: £20

Tour Championship Medal or Finale Runner Up: £10 (runner up prize only presented when a there is a minimum of 10 entrants)


Tour Championship Winner: £30 + Tour Championship Trophy

Tour Championship Runner Up: £20

Tour Championship 3rd Place: £10


Points are awarded per medal based on position finished and number of entrants. 

Points are determined for Medals #1 to 12 as per below:

*if an entrant plays the medal but subsequently withdraws during the medal, 1 point shall be awarded but will not count towards the number of entrants in the medal. The committee reserve the right to uphold the request to withdraw or count the score as a no return


Points are determined for the Tour Championship Finale as per below (worth double points):

The Tour Championship Winner and Final Standings are then determined from the best points from 8 from 12 medals (#1-12) + points accrued for Tour Championship Finale (in the event of a tie number of best placed finishes will determine result).


Winter Eclectic

For those wishing to join the club in the following year temporary membership can be granted to allow entry into the Winter Eclectic before membership fees are paid (however no prizes can be won until fees are paid and membership status granted)


Winter eclectic will be played over Seafield as an eclectic competition (scratch and 1/2 exact course handicap competitions). Using the following formula HI x (Slope Rating/113) / 2 = 1/2 Exact Course Handicap

Maximum of 10 counting scores on each course with the best score on each hole counting towards your best eclectic score. 

Handicaps will then be taken off your total for the handicap prize.


Winter Eclectic Winner Gross: £20*

Winter Eclectic Runner Up Gross: £10*

Winter Eclectic Winner Nett: £20* + Winter Eclectic Trophy

Winter Eclectic Runner Up Nett: £10*

*participants can only win one prize out of the 4 (whichever is higher)
